Experiencing knee pain while bending your leg can be a troubling symptom of a serious injury or condition. It can occur during intense physical activities or as a natural age-related issue.

Our knees bear the brunt of our body's weight during movement. If you suddenly feel severe knee pain when bending, and it persists for an extended period, the first step is to determine its origin. If a physical injury causes the pain, it will manifest immediately.

The discomfort may subside when resting but intensifies with knee rotation and bending. Intense knee pain during bending can also result from inflammatory processes. Inflammation of the joint tissue is called arthritis, which can be of two types:

1️⃣ Specific arthritis develops due to various infectious diseases, such as intestinal infections. If the initial illness is not treated promptly, bacteria can spread to joint tissues.

2️⃣ Non-specific arthritis develops from excessive joint stress, frequent exposure to cold and moisture, or excessive cartilage wear. It is often an age-related condition.

Any knee pain pathology requires timely and serious treatment. If measures are not taken to eliminate the infection, it will progress, affecting healthy tissues and exacerbating discomfort.

Don't let knee pain hold you back! If you experience persistent knee discomfort, consult your healthcare provider for proper diagnosis and treatment. #KneePain #JointHealth #Arthritis
