Ultrasound Services

Comprehensive ultrasound diagnostics are provided, including:

  • Abdominal and pelvic ultrasound

  • Genitourinary system imaging

  • Ultrasound of external genitalia (male, female, pediatric)

  • Neck and thyroid ultrasound

  • Joint ultrasound (shoulder and knee including functional tests; elbow and hip limited to major pathologies such as trauma, inflammation, and tumors)

  • Soft tissue ultrasound of all regions, including head, axillae, back, and extremities

  • Vascular ultrasound of arteries and veins in the neck, upper and lower limbs, retroperitoneum, and pelvis

  • Shear-wave liver elastography (performed daily at the Roudnice facility)

  • Breast ultrasound (male, female, pediatric)

  • Preventive screening (abdomen, pelvis, neck, breast, prostate)

  • Ultrasound-guided interventions, including punctures and aspirations

Biopsies are currently performed under CT or MRI guidance on a weekly basis. Additional training completed for elastography of the breast and thyroid.
